Course Bookings/Reservations All bookings/reservations are subject to the following standard terms and conditions:
Bookings and Cancellations: All bookings and cancellations to be made in writing by email or post. Duty Crew Training will confirm any telephone bookings received by email and this will subsequently count as a confirmed booking. Bookings made online will receive an email confirmation.
Payment: Full payment should be made 14 days prior to start date of the course. Payment can be made by BACS. Details will be sent out with invoices.
Failure to Show: Any Candidate failing to attend a course will still reflect a bona-fide booking, the fee of which will be subjected to our standard terms and conditions.
Transfers and Cancellations
Multiple-day courses: The following applies to multiple-day courses such as the two-day Paediatric course, 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) or the two-day FAW Re-qualification course and any other multiple-day courses not mentioned here: In the event a candidate is unable to attend the second or subsequent days of the course, the full course fee will apply. Duty Crew Training are unable to issue certificates to people who have not attended the required number of days. Duty Crew Training are not obliged to offer candidates places on future courses. If it is possible, the candidate may be offered to attend missed days on future courses scheduled within one month of the original course date, in which case a reduced rate of 75% of the full course fee will apply.
On-site Courses: An on-site course date may be transferred or cancelled altogether and an admin fee of 25% of the full course fee will be incurred unless the course date is within 10 working days in which case the full course fee will apply.
Certificates: Following successful completion of the course, e-certificates will be sent to the email used for booking your course. We reserve the right not to issue certificates where an invoice remains unpaid. If you require a printed certificates, an additional fee will be charged to cover admin and postage costs.
Right of Admission: Duty Crew Training reserves the right to refuse admission to any Candidate exhibiting unruly or anti-social behaviour to either its staff or other Candidates. Any such incident will result in the immediate removal of the offending party.
Course Timings & Attendance: Candidates must adhere to timings as stipulated on the course joining instructions. Failure to attend and participate in any part of the course will result in the Candidate's removal from the final examination (where applicable).
Fitness to Attend: Candidates placed on any of these courses must be free from any ailment, condition or injury that will affect their ability to
participate during the practical aspects of the course.
Refresher Training: Candidates placed on the refresher course must be in possession of a valid certificate – up to 28 days grace period is allowed.
Delivery Policy: Upon successful completion of the course, certificates are issued for participants and delivered within 3 weeks of the course.
Force Majeur: Duty Crew Training cannot be held responsible for any incident or occurrence outside its control that affects the provision of any given course date, course forecast, course content or course timing, and/or including cancellation, amendment or re-scheduling. Where a course content or course timing has to be amended/cancelled/re-scheduled for whatever reason, Duty Crew Training will make every reasonable effort to make alternative arrangements
